How long does it take to receive service?
Wait times depend on the demand our service providers are experiencing, their location relative to your disablement site, and traffic conditions. Once your service request is received, you’ll get a text message from the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership with a link to track the progress of your service. You can watch the service provider live on the map and receive updates on their estimated time of arrival. You can also contact the driver directly for the most efficient communication possible.
Is there a maximum number of times I can use the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership?

How soon can I use my plan?
Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership benefits begin 72 hours after the plan is purchased.
How much is it? When will I be charged and how frequently?
The Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership is $99.99. Your upfront payment covers your Volvo for one year from the purchase date. For your convenience, all memberships are established with automatic renewal. You’ll receive an email in advance of the pending renewal charge. Prices are subject to change.
Where is the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership available?
The Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership is available in 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
Are there limits on how far my Volvo can be towed?
The Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership includes VIP flatbed towing to your nearest dealer - free for up to 100 miles. Additional tow miles are available as an out-of-pocket expense.
What is flatbed towing? Will my Volvo always be towed with a flatbed?
A premium feature of the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership is flatbed towing. Flatbed towing is a step-up from a traditional “hook tow” as it elevates and preserves the vehicle in transport, reduces inadvertent transmission problems and minimizes wear-and-tear on tires. Flatbed vehicle is subject to availability and/or vehicle location (i.e., low-ceiling parking garage).
Can I select an alternative towing destination?
If you elect not to be towed to the nearest Volvo dealer, the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership covers the cost of towing up to 25 miles. Additional tow miles are available as an out-of-pocket expense.
How is the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership different from Volvo Roadside Assistance and Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus?
The Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership is a motor club product available for purchase by Volvo owners. The Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership is sold and administered by Roadside Innovation, Inc. Enrollment in the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership is optional and is not necessary to receive roadside assistance or towing services through Volvo Roadside Assistance and Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus, as may be granted to you by Volvo Car Corporation.
Can I only obtain covered services from the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership when I'm driving the vehicle I registered?
Yes. The program specifically covers the vehicle(s) identified under your membership plan. If you need service on a vehicle not listed in your plan, Urgent.ly on-demand roadside assistance is available for a fee.
How many vehicles can I have on my plan?
Your Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership allows for up to 2 vehicles. Your second vehicle protection is complimentary. Coverage on additional vehicles requires the purchase of another membership plan.
How do I add a 2nd vehicle to my membership plan?
It's simple. Login to the membership site and you'll automatically be directed to your account page. Scroll down to the My Cars section and populate information under Add Car. Your second vehicle is not required to be a Volvo, but is subject to vehicle eligibility guidelines, as outlined in the
Terms & Conditions.
How can I update my covered vehicle(s)?
If you need to make a change to your covered vehicles, please email us at

Please indicate which vehicle(s) you would like to remove from your account, and provide the following details for the vehicle(s) you would like to add: Year, Make (Manufacturer), Model, Color, VIN. If someone else is driving my Volvo, are they covered by the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership?
Yes. Any authorized driver of the registered Volvo is covered by the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership. Anyone using the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership must have your name and unique policy number in order to receive VIP towing or roadside services.
What’s the cancellation policy?
The Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership may be cancelled at any time by emailing

What is the policy for the Trip Interruption benefit?
Trip Interruption is available for mechanical disablements and accidents. You must be 150 miles or more away from your primary residence. Reimbursement consideration is for expenses incurred during the first three days following the disablement/accident. Reasonable expenses for food, lodging and alternate transportation such as a rental vehicle and/or commercial transportation are covered up to a total $500 maximum benefit.
My renewal payment failed. How can I keep my membership active?
Sorry to hear the renewal payment failed. Let's get that taken care of as soon as possible. The system will automatically retry to collect payment twice (for a total of 3 attempts) in order to keep your membership active. You have a total of 20 days before the final attempt, after which the membership will be automatically canceled, so you want to take action immediately if you intend to keep your Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership active. First, log in to your account and ensure the card on file is still active and up to date. If this is a debit card, ensure there are enough funds in your account to make the payment, and to satisfy any other requirements your bank might have. Next, reach out to your bank or credit card company to see whether they blocked the charge, and confirm that this is an expected charge and that you would like them to approve it. Taking these steps should hopefully result in a successful second attempt to collect your annual payment. If the second payment also fails, immediately reach out to volvo.member@geturgnetly.com and explain that your renewal payment has failed but that you would like to keep your membership active. Confirm whether you have taken the previous steps. Our team will be able to further investigate what went wrong, and assist in ensuring your Volvo remains covered by the Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus Membership.
